Privacy policy

Ultimo aggiornamento: July 21, 2026

This English version is provided for information only. SalaryPitch is operated under French law; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Jérôme MICHEL, sole trader, publisher of the website salarypitch.com. The person in charge of data protection is Jérôme MICHEL. For any question about your data, you can write to privacy[@]salarypitch.com.

2. Data we process

  • Account data: email address, first name (optional);
  • Negotiation profile: job title, industry, seniority, compensation, location, negotiation deadline;
  • Content you create: wins, pitches, journal;
  • Voice recordings and their transcriptions, for the time needed to process your request;
  • Subscription and payment data (processed by Stripe; we do not receive your full card number);
  • Usage and technical data (page views, actions in the app), for audience measurement purposes.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Provide and operate the service (account creation, profile, pitch, practice) — performance of the contract;
  • Manage subscriptions and billing — performance of the contract and legal obligation;
  • Improve the service and measure audience — legitimate interest;
  • Send reminder notifications — on the basis of your consent (revocable at any time);
  • Ensure security and prevent abuse — legitimate interest.

4. Voice processing

To turn your speech into a profile and a pitch, your voice is transmitted to our voice processing provider (ElevenLabs), which converts it into text. This processing is necessary to provide you with the service.

5. Recipients and processors

Your data is neither sold nor rented. It is accessible to the Publisher and to technical processors acting on our instructions:

  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication (EU);
  • Infomaniak — website hosting (Switzerland);
  • Stripe — payment and subscription management;
  • ElevenLabs — voice processing;
  • Mistral AI — pitch generation (EU);
  • Lettermint — email delivery (EU);
  • PostHog — audience measurement (EU).

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some processors (notably Stripe and ElevenLabs) may process data outside the European Union, in the United States. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses and/or Data Privacy Framework membership), in order to ensure an adequate level of protection.

7. Cookies and audience measurement

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers for targeting purposes. Audience measurement is carried out with PostHog, configured in anonymized mode and hosted in the European Union, without cookies and without sharing for advertising purposes. This configuration falls under the consent exemption for audience measurement provided for by the CNIL's recommendations. Push notifications, for their part, are only enabled with your consent.

8. Retention periods

  • Account data and content: for as long as your account is active, then deleted if the account is deleted;
  • Billing data: kept for the time required by legal and accounting obligations;
  • Audience measurement data: kept for a limited period for statistical purposes.

You can delete your account at any time from your account area; this action erases your associated data (excluding legal retention obligations).

9. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to set instructions regarding its fate after your death. You can exercise these rights by writing to privacy[@]salarypitch.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures: hosting in the European Union, encryption of communications (HTTPS), and per-user isolation of data access.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated. The applicable version is the one published on this page. In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you.
